What It Costs to Remove Window Tint

Stripping old film costs $49 for the front two windows, $89 for the back sides and rear glass, and $129 for a full car when we're installing new film on the same visit — the glass only gets prepped once, so doing both together always costs less than doing them apart. Removal on its own is quoted after we've seen the film, because film from last year peels off in sheets and film from 2009 comes off in pieces.

    Tinting a Truck in Georgetown

Most trucks that come into the shop get the front two windows only, matched to the factory privacy glass already behind the cab — $129 in 3M Color Stable, $269 in 3M Ceramic IR, $379 in 3M Crystalline, and that price is flat whether it's a Ranger or an F-350, because two door windows are the same job on both. A full crew cab in Ceramic IR is $679.
